Reports coming through from Nigeria are that the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have terminated the role of Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi.
The Super Eagles picked up their first 2015 AFCON qualifiers win when they convincingly outclassed Sudan 3-1 at home last night.
According to our sister website, SL10.ng , the Federation will be looking to sponsor Keshi and his technical team for a coaching course at a school of their choice to gain more knowledge about the game.
Shuaibu Amodu has been re-instated as the head coach on an interim basis, and will be assisted by three Nigeria Professional Football League club coaches.
Nigeria have two important matches left in their qualifying campaign, with an away tie against Congo Brazzaville who they lost 3-2 in Calabar and Bafana Bafana who they played to a 0-0 draw in Cape Town.
The former Orlando Pirates coach will have a daunting task to ensure qualification for the reigning African champions.
