Jennifer Lopez defends new album A.K.A. and Booty song

Now 44 years old ... Jennifer Lopez is back in the music game with eighth record A.K.A..
BLAME it on six-year-old twins Max and Emme.
Jennifer Lopez’s son and daughter are responsible for the 44-year-old multi-hyphenate entertainer and businesswoman reversing a decision on a song about one of her celebrated assets.
“It’s my kids’ fault, they loved that song so much. And I just love that they love it so I thought I had to put it on the album.”
And there it is, the closing track on Jennifer Lopez’s eighth studio record A.K.A.
It has been three years since JLo put out an album, having devoted her energies to the myriad endeavours which have make Jennifer Lopez one of the biggest entertainment brands in the world.
Besides her role as an American Idol judge, Lopez has produced television shows, programmed a Latin cable network, completed a clutch of film roles, continues to endorse the perfume ranges which have grossed $2 billion in the past decade and developed homewares and clothing lines.
All that work — and raising her twins — also proved to be a therapeutic distraction after divorcing third husband Marc Anthony in 2011 and more recently, splitting with her dancer boyfriend Casper Smart.
A. K. A could have been constructed as an A side of club bangers with a B side of ballads.
Several of the songs are lyrically littered with references to her personal relationship travails including recent single First Love — “I wish you were my first love, ‘Cause if you were first,
Baby there would have been no second, third or fourth love”.
Lopez admits her philosophy about love is “less fairytale” now.
