Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are back together again and Taylor Swift is not happy about the union. Swift and Gomez have broken up their friendship before over the Canadian born singer and this time around is no exception. What has fans perplexed is how Bieber was able to get Gomez back after all his womanizing.
According to a source that spoke with Hollywood Life, it seems that Bieber used his negative media coverage over the singers N word usage in a video that was leaked recently, as well as the singers family to draw the Come & Get It singer back. “Justin reached out to Selena,” said the source, “when he was getting tons of backlash for his controversial race joke.” The source explains that Bieber told Gomez that she was “the only one who truly understood him.” The source went on to say that Bieber pleaded with Gomez to be by her side in this, yet again, scandalous time.
Bieber’s father, Jeremy Bieber, had a birthday recently and the One Less Lonely Girl singer had asked Gomez to attend the birthday celebration. The source told Hollywood Life that it was natural to have Gomez invited to the 34-year-old birthday bash as Gomez has been a big part of the Bieber family. After flying to Canada and spending the weekend of June 7 and 8, Gomez and Bieber’s relationship was back on.
“He also told her that she was his one and only soulmate,” the source said, “and that he was lost without her.” Apparently everything that Bieber said to Gomez was everything the singer wanted to hear and the, not so healthy relationship flared up again.
Taylor Swift and Gomez, long time BFF’s, had a falling out before over the toxic relationship between Gomez and Justin Bieber and now that the couple are together again, Swift is far from happy. After Gomez and Bieber split the last time, Swift was reportedly helping Gomez use her emotions and direct them into her music. Something that Swift has been doing in her entire career and the formula she uses has proven to work. Swift even was helping Gomez connect with Ed Sheeran and One Direction’s, Niall Horan for possible collaborations.
Gomez fans were excited to hear that Swift was helping Gomez with her new album, as Gomez has been struggling to get the musical attention and accolades as her BFF, Swift, has earned. However, now that Gomez is back with Bieber, and Swift disapproving of the match, who knows what that means for Gomez and her music.
The news of Gomez spending a weekend with Bieber was leaked when Victoria Nosko, a family friend of the Bieber family, tweeted “Had an awesome b day weekend.” Noskos, who was also celebrating her birthday, then thanked the Biebs, Jeremy Bieber and Selena Gomez along with a few other names. However the tweet was quickly deleted and then reposted without the use of Gomez’s name. On June 11, Bieber also posted a pic to Instagram of him being hugged by Gomez with the words, “Our love is unconditional.” That post has also been quickly deleted.
With news of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez back together again, and with Taylor Swift not approving of the relationship, many wonder if Gomez and Bieber will maybe even release a song together. The fact is that fans can never keep up with the comings and goings of the most on again/off again relationship in the music industry.
